A mother’s tear..what could be more painful than that..
for how could a child bear that..
Only when I saw a palestinian child ,
in his lap a mother dying..
Did I understand what pain is.. how is it befallen..
A heart’s affliction, and a broken heart..
For how could a sincere heart bore that..
Only when I saw a palestinian woman,
running with bombs exploding..
rushing to save a child injured..
Did i understand what love is.. whose sake is it for..
A shriek , a cry out of misery …
for how much can a mind take before it explodes..
Only when I saw a palestinian boy , before God ,
Did I understand how can mind still be alright..
and what faith is..
A life full of ingratitude and impatience..
how can one even live and not wish to die..
Only when I saw a palestinian child born out of dead mother..
Did I understand life to be a blessing.. Did i understand what gratefulness is..
Just before going out and stating your calamities to God or go about whining , Remind yourself of how blessed you are.. I’ll conclude with a pray which suffices the purpose of this reminder:
“O Allah! Protect me in this calamity that has befallen me and replace it with something better), Allah will accept his prayer, grant him reward for his affliction, and replace it with something better.”
May Allah help all the Muslim Ummah in facing all sorts of trials with patience and perseverance of faith and May He eradicate the effects of the sorrows , calamities that He tests them with , individually or in groups. Ameen ya rabb.
