Assalam u alaikum wr wb,
Alhamdulilah hi rabbil alimeen . The Eid went well, it had many bounties in it and we are blessed without any measure, no doubt . Yet so less do we see.
Today’s topic about commands of Allah I want to generally discuss the commandments of Allah mentioned in the Quran . Any command any idea given , is for our benefit , that is the attitude of a believer. A believer cannot ask questions the authenticity of Quran then? They can’t be doubtful then? About the ayahs , No . This is as simple as “there are stars in the sky at night.” A believer never questions why or how or what or when should he obey. He knows it is descended from Allah and that itself is enough. This is also important because a believer believes first and reads second where as it’s the opposite for a non-believer. A believer only increases in faith when something of questionable comes their way whereas a non-believer( who don’t want to believe as well) wants argumentative debates after debates. There is a vast amount of difference. When reading the ayahs and reflecting upon the signs , a believer is in awe of His master whereas nothing of this sort happens to a non-believer instead they think it is nothing. Made by big bang of course. Like duh who needs to pay mind to these things. Long thing short, a believer don’t want explanations and no amount of explanations can satisfy a non-believer. Note that the non-believer in this context is not only the one who don’t believe but also have no fascination towards believing.
A command of doing trade and STOP taking ribaa or interest has some points which many of us don’t know or don’t pay much mind to it either.
The difference between trade and interest :
|Trade has both hard work and money.||Interest only gives money, no hard work.|
|Intelligence + Time||No Intelligence + Much free time|
|Focused Work + Established work||No focus required + Inoperable|
|No fixed Profit||Fixed profit|
|More Risk||No risk at all|
|No increase in profit with time||Increase in profit with time|
|Bought once = onetime benefit||Bought once= every time benefit|
|Capital revolves in different groups||Capital remains within one group|
|Free will||No free will.|
The difference makes us realize the benefits and disadvantages of a certain issue. So, There is more to that than just benefits and disadvantages. What more? It is the good over all . The surface of the things that might look good today may create havoc for you in the near future. The money that is in one person’s hand remains in his hands leaving many others deprived of their most basic rights. & The common man can keep on taking loans and keep on paying loans all their lives. A religion of harmony and peace , Islam . How can it allow this? Islam wants the society’s capital in motion. The opposite is happening around and we see the wrong hands have the most capital and we cannot do anything about it. Why? Because we , ourselves are a slave to their opinions .
In Islam ,it is forbidden and it’s punishment is far far worse.
Those who eat Riba will not stand (on the Day of Resurrection) except like the standing of a person beaten by Shaytan leading him to insanity.
We reached a river -the narrator said, “I thought he said that the river was as red as blood”- and found that a man was swimming in the river, and on its bank there was another man standing with a large collection of stones next to him. The man in the river would swim, then come to the man who had collected the stones and open his mouth, and the other man would throw a stone in his mouth.
May Allah guide us all in following the truth and before questioning or not being able to understand them fully , may we be able to reflect upon them . Ameen.
