Assalam u alaikum wr wb,

My favorite topic again. Allah has sent down a whole Surah in this context. Allah has explained destiny in beautiful ways and how it should be perceived from time to time.

Indeed, those who do not expect the meeting with Us and are satisfied with the life of this world and feel secure therein and those who are heedless of Our signs.

There are two types of people in this world:
> The ones who crave for the world and who follow their desires .These are the ones who are most likely to forget that they will ever meet their Lord. Also, they blame everything on God like they say that Allah didn’t guide us.If He wanted , we would have been among the guided ones as well. In short they do not crave for what is guidance. They don’t seek it ,instead they deny they’ll ever meet the one who created them and they ignore the signs in the Quran and even outside of it.
> The second type of people are the ones who seek guidance. Ones who not only crave to meet their Lord but also rely in Him all that they do .They are in between hope and fear. These are the people who really reflect upon the signs within the Quran and outside of it. They are the firm believers of the after life & meeting their creator. That keeps them on track.

Accepting invitations leads us to ask for directions that will lead us to the path automatically. Not even accepting an invitation cannot really make us acknowledge even the goodness of the invitation.

And Allah invites to the Home of Peace and guides whom He wills to a straight path.

Being in this world , it is very important to know that this world is temporary. A Muslim’s permanent residence is Darussalaam( a house of peace) , which a name of Jannah. Keeping in mind that that house is for those who work for it. Who wants it in their hearts. Allah wills and guides those who want it for themselves, Allah says in the Surah Hud,

He said, “O my people have you considered: if I should be upon clear evidence from my Lord while He has given me mercy from Himself but it has been made unapparent to you, should we force it upon you while you are averse to it?

Meaning, Allah do not force guidance unto anybody. Nor He wishes it for us if we don’t wish it for ourselves. It is a very mis used concept. It is used as an excuse for many people to do wrong in this world. We , as Muslims, should always remember that we are responsible for our deeds. So, even after doing a bad deed, we should be embarrassed about it and do instant tauba.

Destination is the place one reaches. It is the end result of a struggle. We sometimes perceive destiny on extreme cases. & Fail to realize its importance and the concept Allah has made so clear for us if only we internalize.

May Allah makes it easy for us to return to our Lord in a way that pleases Him. May our hearts turn into obtaining the guidance and may we crave for it as we crave for things we love and more than that, Ameen.
