Category Archives: Peace OUT!

When you see me..

A little poem for the way a girl should see herself and the way others look at her despite her contribution in making the world a better place.

Today you see me as an emotional fool,
Yet you haven’t seen the courage, emotions bring..
Today you have just made fun of me,
Yet you haven’t seen the ways I have dealt with nuisance..
Today you have made me afraid again of reaching the success,
Yet you don’t realize my power and courage of getting back up..
Today you have hurt me through another turn,
Yet I smiled just because I know some turns have to be rough enough..
Today you have insulted me for my silliest mistakes,
Yet it made me acknowledge my strengths even more..
Today you tried to snatch my dreams away in the night,
Yet I am optimistic more for a silver lining in the black cloud..
Today you made just another impression of ruthless power,
Yet I have to make vulnerability my strength..
Today you have again taken me for granted,
Yet I am more valuable in my eyes than I was ever before..
Today , world you have lost me,
Yet, today I found myself while I am in you..

& For that I am grateful.

I encourage all the beautiful wonderful women out there, who are struggling each day for going on in their journeys. You are beautiful as you lead a life which is beautiful through making the hard choices and through living for others. You are acknowledged somewhere up in the heavens and will be blessed in a manner you and I can only dream of.

Thank you for being the way you are.

Why do Muslims Pray?

Assalam u alaikum wr wb,

Many a times , moving with life , we get frustrated and tired. We get to understand that the life we are living isn’t giving us all that we desire. It isn’t pointing out exactly the things we want and making them reach our way. This disappointment leads to something known as frustration. Whether we want or not ,we do get frustrated at times in our lives. Every once in a while no matter what the reason is, life happens. It won’t be wrong to say that sometimes life is a little bit unfair. Although it will also be no wrong to say that life balances out on other times and makes up for our bad times. Life does make sense.

To eradicate the building of negative thoughts inside of us , we all need some peace of mind. This is why Muslims pray, it gives us the motivation to stay positive and it gives us the hope. The connection with Allah subhana wa taala is a very important connection. To realize its importance is only through one way and that is consistent prayer. How can praying remove the negative thoughts? Sometimes we are so down that we complain even in our prayer! Well, that’s the whole point when I see it ,praying helps us talk our mind out to someone who helps us in a way we need to be helped. Isn’t it beautiful? Isn’t it what we all want , for someone to see our situation and then maybe work around with it for our sake. I think this is what we all want at times. It is also a beautiful reminder that the controlling power is the supreme power of Allah and at the end we always ask Him for assistance.

Situations are good and bad but wherever we are, we must pray.

  • Prayer is the contentment of soul and mind.
  • It is a gateway out of the negative thoughts.
  • It keeps us consistent and sharp.
  • It disciplines us.
  • It guides our shame and essence of knowledge.
  • It gives us humbleness in all that we do.
  • It directs us to our destination.
  • It helps us gain motivation and consciousness to do the right thing at the right time.

Pray right to stay right.
May Allah help us all to pray and to complete our prayer and acknowledge the importance of praying, consistently. Ameen.

Change is a New Hope!

Assalam u alaikum wr wb,
Hope is a small word yet it contains meanings of a mountain. To lead this life however hope is very important. The important question is what makes this beautiful positive hope? The question needs an answer and a proper one. We all talk about the goodness of hearts and what it means to stay positive and firm in our decisions. Although we keep on forgetting the how part of this question! We keep on mitigating our belief by practicing very less amount of what positive we are saying or even thinking.

Change is inevitable, it cannot be denied. Human brain however, denies one very important thing and that is positive hope for a new change and the growth out of it. Perspective. When we deny the change we deny that optimistic side of that change as well. We have to realize that we are in a situation whether we want it or not, whether we deal with it or not. We cannot run away from situations and people and also we cannot stop growing, no matter how hard we try. What can happen is we can grow faster or slower than a turtle. At the end, we will cover a journey and reach a destination. This change that we keep on bringing in ourselves makes our destination either wonderful or disastrous. The Choice is Ours and only Ours to make. We cannot go back nor we know what the future holds but we do know our present situations and our present mental states. We can certainly change them both.

I wonder many of us talk optimistically about the future and the change they want to bring but a rare amount of us actually work hard to attain this. We either go too hard on ourselves and leave the objective altogether or we start thinking negatively or we give it all up without even trying.
How can this be hope? How is this thinking positively ? How can this sort of thinking change our perception of the actual reality?

Little start goes along a long way.. do start some where..

May we all hope good and bring positive change around us by realizing our true potential and by practicing the real choices instead of just saying positive words. Ameen.

Some real thoughts.
Have a good day. Cheerio!
Fe Aman Allah.

Surah Al Baqarah Continuation

Assalam u alaikum wr wb,

Ayaat 2-5 refelction
Modern Ideas:
The idea of evidence and checked it through science and gauge the data. God, heaven and hell cannot be seen hence cannot be proved. Therefore, there is no point discussing it.
Can you prove the emotion of love scientifically or how you love your mother?
When people accept the reality beyond what your eyes can perceive. Than only can they believe.
Have eman because they keep working on it because they realize emaan comes up and down in your heart. People who have taqwa even their eman goes up and down.
Believing in Unseen:
See a reality around them which others cannot see. Appreciation of the invisible.
For example, backbiting has everybody has no problem with.
At the time when its tested did you make a difference? Did your heart asked you to do something differently?
Facts and quality struggles
Continuous struggles

  • Loneliness
  • Party and ways to earn through haram means
  • Protection through supplication

All of the stuff is related to out belief of the unseen.
Salah means connection , it is the only way we connect with our Lord Allah Subhana wa taala. Iqama means to make something permanent. Now when something is seen and visible it is just like saying out of sight out of mind when its gone but this is not the case with us Muslims. We firmly believe in the unseen and therefore to attain consciousness and to attain continuity in quality struggles , we need to make our salah permanent. Only through this way we would be able to:

  • Do sabr through loneliness and see the positive side of things
  • When everybody else is doing something wrong, we’d be able to walk out of it dignified or at least not become a part of it.
  • Believe that we are protected when reciting the supplications of protection.

A man who works within his capacity and follows the Islamic things even though he does little cannot be judged based on our measuring scales but Allah will be the only fair judge. Allah truly knows who is successful because he is all known of the visible and invisible.

Barak Allahu feeki.

Surah Al-Baqarah Part-1

Assalam u alaikum wr wb,

Revising lessons from Surah Al-Baqarah this Ramadan . Ayaat 1-2.

Surah Baqarah
Revealed after prophet p.b.u.h migrated to Madina. Last 30-35% of the quran. Unique and subject is different.
Makkah different society ya ayyuhan naas but not in madni surahs.
Muslims lived with christians and jews. Earlier surahs of this multicultured society.
A lot of ayahs later in the surah is about the battle of badr.
The last of the ayaat given were at the last in revelation. Last when Muhammad p.b.u.h went up in the sky.
Many audience of multi cultured but in the language of the people , the jews christians and muslims everybody. Makkah didn’t have background of religion . Madini audience have leaders they are scholars too. Ahbaar : Hands dipped in ink.
Muhammad p.b.u.h not at all literate and a part of miracle when he is one who is the teacher.

Alif laam meem : letters because they are learning to read. who is his teacher?
Arabs thought they are the master of the language , said things in a way that nobody has ever heard before. Curiosity? Nobody has had this knowledge before.
Guidance for those who believe.
The first orientation of the student of Quran is you don’t know anything, come to this book with humility and not with curiosity.
In college you are in a position to control, you come to it like a beggar a bankrupt not like a consumer. When you are desperate to know , set our attitude to right. We need to be okay with curbing and curiosity about the book. What you find interesting should not be in charge.
Equally important to tell and no tell each day. Ask questions but ask useful questions. If Allah didn’t tell you , it is beneficial for you.

Next Ayah:
Kitaab: scratch onto something to write, once write it, its set. profound reality of quran there is no room to modify , it is set .It is what it is. If its flexible it can be said as kalaam but not kitaab. Quran means to read out loud. Far away.Quran read here but written over there (Zalika)
Raib: Disturbed and shaken up on the inside. Doubt that’s bothering you until that confusion is removed from you.
Hudan: Guidance
Taqwa: Wiqaya means over and excessive protection.

6 different ways of looking at ayah:
1) Written uniquely written , hearing is not just a man talking but its written somewhere far away and is reaching him.
2) Alif Laam Meem is one of the names of Quran. Humble a human being that at the end of it you don’t know anything.
3) The Book : The humanity was waiting for this book. Jews and christians had special instructions and were waiting and was promised before. They use to talk about it. It is being said that is the book you have been waiting for.
4) Powerful Guidance who want a careful , every step protectively avoiding harm come to themselves.
5) Two things that define my relationship , there is no room for any skepticism .Not in this book no room for doubt. How is the question? Doubt is removed when you see a miracle. Like in Moosa A.S , Esa A.S. This book is a miracle inside it , its for the ears and not for the eyes and its not for all ears as well. Those miracles even if you are not a follower of Moosa ,you will still see the river being parted.
In Quran that is not the case, there are the people who hated Islam before can look at it shallow and more skepticism can be there.
Come looking for it and ponder and dive in deep then it will be a miracle for you. “Afala Yatadabbaru ul Quran”: If they reflect they won’t find criticism . It will be clear as water.
6) A gift of guidance, not the intellectual relationship in this part. Constantly seeking direction. I can’t say I already had water yesterday , I need it today as well. Allah describes the relationship with Quran as water and thirst needs to be quenched each day . If you want to protect yourself , Allah guarantees you that this book will absolutely guide you and quench your thirst.
Active Guidance for you and a living experience for people. It is going to have an exact answer for you. Always give you guidance as its come down for you.

Next is the answer for how do you attain taqwa?
Barak Allahu Feek.

Assalam u alaikum wr wb,

Allah subhana wa taa’ala has blessed us all with many relations. For instance mother, father, siblings, friends , nieces, nephews etc. These are names of just a few relations and they’re all meaningful. they’re all lovely. Out of them today I want to talk about one amazing relationship which is Husband & Wife.

“And among His Signs is that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquility with them, and He put love and mercy between your hearts. Verily in that are Signs for those who reflect.” [Sûrah Rûm: 21]

Allah subhana wa taa’ala has placed love and mercy between the hearts of husband and wife.. This shows the beauty of this relationship. I love this ayah , because of too many reasons:

  • Love is a beautiful thing. A whole thing, it’s hard to get and it’s hard to give to a total stranger but Allah has put it in the heart’s of spouses way before they know it.
  • Spouses realize how much they love each other with the passage of time.
  • Spouses understand each other with time as well , made for each other.
  • The beautiful portion of mercy and kindness makes the relationship even more tender and beautiful.
  • Mercy comes when they forgive each other continously for each others mistakes and accept each others imperfections quite perfectly.

Spouses aren’t always at their best nor are they angels but they can make a home a heaven just by looking at each other gently. They know they’ll both be there for each other when the time comes so they rely on each other. The efforts they put in together aren’t going to waste. The life they’re building together isn’t an easy one. However, the truthful companionship of each other can make it all the more beautiful and all the more worthy. There is one more thing that I want to mention here before I close this topic with a dua,  the obligations upon each of them are big . It is obligatory for them to carry them out rather than to make excuses for themselves. The good that they do is still a part of making them better , but now not as a person but as a partner as well.

May Allah make our spouses the coolness of our eyes and may He grant us more goodness towards each other. For those who aren’t married May Allah bless them with the best of spouses. Ameen ya rabb.

Jazakillah Hu khayr. Fe amanillah !

Life demands confidence rather than conflict..

Assalam u alaikum wr wb,

Life demands confidence rather than conflict from us. Doing something out of sheer courage requires confidence. Standing up to something or standing up for someone does makes us be a little bit better characteristically.

This courage doesn’t mean to be rude but to be straight forward and right in your decisions. Courage means to be patient. It means to be sensitive for our loved ones. Courage is to bring out sunshine for a better tomorrow. When we are not sure of ourselves we make the mistakes we never intend to make. To be really sure , we need to think of and analyze everything .

We need to certainly believe that there is a solution for everything, we need to stop focusing on our problems more.

Moreover, we need to realize that we can be ourselves without the fear of denial. Why? Because there are always people in form of angels around us who love us that dearly. Those people are a form of token of appreciation from our God . This should make us feel more humble and more grateful. To show that we are grateful and more humble , we need to improve ourselves always for even the small mistakes and for the smallest of things that hurt others.

Untitled design (1)

May we all realize our true worth and the worth of the people around us. May we give and get the encouragement we need in life. May we follow suit for what is best for us.  May we become such that we live for others. Amen.

Article written in inspiration to my husband.

Today I was asking Allah about something and the very next day I had it..

Assalam u alaikum wr wb,

Today I was asking Allah about something and the very next day I had it. Today I was striving for somethings and in short time span I had it.. sometimes I asked , sometimes I had it before I asked.. do I deserve what I own then ? All the blessings, everything going straight in my life.. perhaps I have everything yet nothing at all.. how am I grateful for my blessings is a big question I need to ask myself!

Why is it so important to ask this query ?

Allah gave it to me whether I acknowledge it or not.
To Allah do I return whether I want to or not.

How do I protect my blessings?
I need to grateful.

love you Allah

How ?

I need to work on my obligations. That’ll be my first step gaining sound protectiveness and will save me from Allah’s wrath. I cannot forget that the God who is so merciful is also al qahhar. I remind myself of that every day.

Starting myself with 5 pillars of Islam :

What is my reaction when I cannot carry out with one or any of these?

I need to be worried. I need to work with it my way whether it be starting one Salah and just praying fard or starting immediately . Remembering I cannot leave off the obligations no matter what. I need certain things in my life to stay then I need to guard them with my whole heart knowing it is a way of me being grateful, knowing the Lord of all the worlds will be watching over me and what He has blessed me with. He will know my abd hasn’t forgotten Me even when I have blessed him/her. That’ll be my reward and my heart’s tranquility. I love Allah for everything I have as I am not worthy of any of my blessings even for a cell in my eye .

Does that mean I need to cut off everything I do ?

Remember, I am a human and I am weak. Everything cannot possibly work in one day. Take my time but don’t forget to hold on to the progress I am making even if it’s very slow. I’ll be content because I am on a path worth traveling. I’ll reach my desired goals one day with the help of Allah. My work is trying in abundance.  Seeking forgiveness whenever I fall.

What if I am already carrying on with the obligations ?

Firstly I need to be humble about it. It is not me if Allah didn’t guide me I’ll surely be among the ignorant ones. So I don’t need to look down upon or judge others. I, however, need to go one step further and add nafal to make a connection more strongly needed. That is to really indulge myself in any activities that makes my prayers better. For instance more concentration. Really knowing the meaning of what I am reciting and keeping my mind widely open.  Probably one day a tahajjud in a week. There can be more according to each one of ours capabilities.

May we all take care of our blessings by being true to our Maker and true to our duties as a sign of gratitude for all we are blessed with. Ameen.

Allah when puts us through tests in life…

Assalam u alaikum wr wb,

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

The world and this life is full of paths which are narrow, smooth and tricky. How we walk this path actually determines our approach towards life. Also, there is another reality . For each and everyone of us we are given this life and we are not in control of even our own breaths because they’re also given to us for a certain amount of time. The thing which is given to us we can get tested by it.  It’s something pretty logical .  It’s just like saying while cooking that I am given the ingredients , I’ll cook now and while cooking I am using those ingredients but to how much extent do I use them is my test. If I get careless using them can be counted as my mistake and hence how I acted in my test. Now, one of those ingredient can be rotten by default even if it in an air fitted jar . This is also my test, that I didn’t know about from the start but this cannot be counted as my mistake as I couldn’t possible know.  This elucidates tests are not always related to our own mistakes hence we cannot question all the tests that comes our way.

What is Allah’s way of testing?

Allah tests in different scenarios with different ways.

In surah Al baqarah Allah says in ayah 155-157,

And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,

Who, when disaster strikes them, say, “Indeed we belong to Allah , and indeed to Him we will return.”

Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided.

Allah tests and it is His way (Sunnah of Allah subhana wa taa’ala).

Why do Allah put a person through a test?

Allah puts a believer or even a disbeliever through a test for many reasons :
1) To make one realize that they are not in control of everything, a higher and most magnificent authority can make anything happen *anytime*.
2) To expiate one’s sins ,

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When Allaah wills good for His slave, He hastens the punishment for him in this world, and when Allaah wills ill for His slave, he withholds the punishment for his sins from him until he comes with all his sins on the Day of Resurrection.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (2396); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi.

3) Allah loves the people He tests ,

“The greatest reward comes with the greatest trial. When Allaah loves a people He tests them. Whoever accepts that wins His pleasure but whoever is discontent with that earns His wrath.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (2396) and Ibn Maajah (4031); classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi.

Reasoning calamity always is not very wise because it might make one go through negative thinking based on however the less knowledge we might have. Allah loves in unique ways.

Solution or what to do in those times:

Most importantly to remember is to think about it and making sure that we think positively about it. Criticize one own self and observe. If it is not getting reasonable still seek forgiveness for our knowledge is far less and we are far more vulnerable than we presume ourselves to be. (Allah will remove the calamity for sure).

Things to observe.

  • Patience.
  • Seeking forgiveness. (Hundred times Astaghfirullah)
  • Remaining Grateful in all scenarios.
  • Be more conscious of the efforts in piety and humbleness.

“Truly, Allah loves those who repent, and He loves those who cleanse themselves.” [Al-Baqarah 2:222].
“O Allah! Make me among those who, when they commit an act of virtue, feel good, and when they commit a mistake, they seek forgiveness.” [Ibn Majah]

Solution is not to get so low that we get into the trap of the devil. Yes trap ! It’s an awesome trap and thinking one negative thought can take you away from Allah’s mercy. Think of devil as your enemy.

Getting more closer to Allah is the purpose and also the solution.

The point is to never let go. The is point that there is no other way but to turn to Allah as all other ends are the dead ends.

Allah sees whether we move closer to Him or move away from Him . Whether we think we are too sinful for us to repent for our sins or whether we are still hopeful in another repentance and move on with another improvement. It’s important to know that we can talk to Allah about everything, every fear every thought can be discussed with Him . He makes ways if we make our way towards Him. He grants more wisdom and more knowledge if we seek it.

May we be among those who sees above the surface. May we become more consistent and more firm in our actions so we may please Allah as is required from us. Allah huma Ameen.

Jazakumullah hu khayrun kaseer.

Have a nice day.

Assalam u alaikum wr wb

I love you Allah…. ♥

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Assalam u alaikum wr wb,

Alhamdulilah , I am writing again. Today I want to write about Allah subhana wa taa’la and a confusion that when made unclear made me realize His Greatness and made me realize how He loves.

“Say you, He is Allah, the one. Allah the Independent, Care free. He begot none’ nor was He begotten. And nor anyone is equal to Him.”

I always used to think if Allah is carefree, if He doesn’t even need us to worship Him. Why would He make us? How come He loves us? He is independent of all the worship that we do for Him? He is As-Sammad.

Later, I understood this concept and it is so beautiful that it made me all the more grateful.
Allah is our creator, our planner and the ultimate owner of our souls. No one is like Him and He is like no one. Our trouble is without understanding or trying to comprehend His greatness , we exemplify Him with our thoughts. Allah is above and beyond anyone and anything.

He is not like a single being that we have seen nor can we properly induce His greatness. That is how much great He is. He don’t need us to worship Him, He is our creator. It’s more or less saying that a teacher don’t need us to come and do the exam for his self projection rather it’s for our own good. We need to do it for ourselves, so that we can get passed , so that we can get the good grades and so we get a good job. It’s ultimately for our own good. We get the multiple benefits . The teacher without getting the benefits rewards us.

Allah when says He is carefree of our actions and our deeds what it actually means is we need Him and He is not in need of our deeds neither are we powerful enough. It’s the attitude that counts , it’s our humbleness that will make us reach our rewards of His bounty. We need to bow down only before Him, so we get closer to Him and to the reward He has prepared for us . He loves us for our own good. :’)

I hope I made sense. Jazakillah hu khayr for reading .

May Allah make us closer to Him and make our hearts understand His attributes in the way they are. Ameen.

Assalam u alaikum wr wb.
